Lisa Iurato is a vice president in Global Communications at Prudential Financial, Inc. As a member of the digital media team, Iurato serves as editor of Prudential's online newsroom and supports the company’s enterprise website, creating content and utilizing new technologies to communicate with internal and external audiences. She also manages the media monitoring team, as well as various digital and social media channels. Prior to this role, she managed communications for the company’s retail mutual fund and institutional asset management businesses.

Previously, Iurato was Public Information Officer for the New York State Department of Transportation's New York City office and was responsible for all communications to employees, media, elected officials and the general public. She began her career in public relations at Manhattan-based Rubenstein Associates, working with real estate companies and nonprofit organizations. Iurato earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Siena College, where she interned in all branches of government, including the office of New York Congressman Peter T. King. She also earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Rutgers-Newark, The State University of New Jersey. She is on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Montclair-Newark, having served as vice president of Finance for 2011-12 and currently serving a second year as vice president of Communications.
