PR News Announces CSR Awards Finalists and March 12 CSR Awards Luncheon in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C., January 15, 2015 -- PR News is thrilled to announce the finalists of its CSR Awards. The winners and honorable mentions of its annual awards programs will be saluted at the CSR Awards Luncheon on March 12, 2015 from 12 to 2 p.m. at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

This must-attend event will honor the most outstanding communications efforts powering corporate social responsibility and green initiatives. The finalists of the CSR Awards program set new standards of excellence and point the way for other organizations to follow. PR News will also honor the winners and honorable mentions for the 2014 Nonprofit PR Awards alongside the finalists of the CSR program.

PR News will hold a Crisis Management Workshop, which will take place the morning of the CSR Awards Luncheon. This half-day, interactive workshop is packed with proven tips and insights on the essential building blocks of developing a crisis management plan that fits your business, how to use social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter as your first lines of communication and how to assess and repair the damage when the smoke clears after a crisis.
