2016 Agency Elite Awards: Cause/CSR

Winner: Lippe Taylor - Cetaphil Celebrates Camp Wonder 15th Anniversary

Four years ago, Lippe Taylor helped launch a partnership between Cetaphil and the Children’s Skin Disease Foundation, Camp Wonder: A safe haven for children to have a “normal” camp experience away from the judging eyes of the rest of the world. Cetaphil’s involvement allowed children to attend Camp Wonder (it’s free for all campers), raise awareness for the cause and has since become a pivotal part of its parent company Galderma’s culture, proving how special the experience is for all involved, not just campers.

With no new assets and a minimal budget, Lippe Taylor devised an approach that would create a big splash for a milestone year—Camp Wonder’s 15th anniversary. The team elevated the already uplifting Camp Wonder experience by surprising attendees with two celebrities—a pop culture sensation from the Disney Channel’s hit show "Austin & Ally" and an inspiring young model who suffers from her own skin condition. This made the anniversary especially memorable for campers while providing an opportunity to generate powerful media coverage.
