A 25-year communicator, Brandy is director of external communication and PR at Southwest Airlines. Her oversight includes the company’s spokespeople.

In addition, Brandy oversees a brand partnership and entertainment team that showcases Southwest’s brand, hospitality and people through integrations across television, film and music.

Brandy’s wheelhouse is creating strategic communication plans that guide Southwest through tough moments and complex issues. During her two decades at Southwest, Brandy has served in a leadership position in PR, social media, operational communication, crisis management and labor communication. Brandy is a recipient of the company’s President’s Award, a member of Page Society Future Leaders and an alumna of Leadership Women.

Brandy hails from Dallas, and earned a BA from Texas State University in political science and communication. A wife and mother, she says her greatest achievement is serving as mom to three boys.
