Winner: Trend Micro/HCK2 Partners—Don't Be That Guy
Trend Micro, a global leader in security software and solutions, strives to make the world safe for exchanging digital information. It recently launched the Trend Micro Security 2015, which is a consumer product line that provides Internet security, malware protection, mobile protection and social media privacy. With this launch, Trend Micro sought to communicate to its audiences the importance of cyber-security and privacy in a way that individuals can relate to and easily understand.
The “Don’t Be That Guy” video series was created to educate consumers on the difference between security and privacy, as well as demonstrate the need for both. The videos were designed to be highly appealing to consumers and easily sharable among other social channels. The video garnered close to half a million total views and positive reactions on social media. The videos were often the top engaged with content for the month on Trend Micro’s social media channels.
