Allison Schneider is Locust Street Group’s (LSG) director of communications, a top member of the communications practice. Her expertise and instincts have quickly made her invaluable at LSG. She has been instrumental in providing crisis communications counsel and building the firm’s digital practice, while serving as communications director for a major national healthcare coalition of more than 20 groups including major multinational companies and prominent trade associations.
Schneider combines nearly 10 years of experience on Capitol Hill and political campaigns, most recently serving as communications director for a member of Congress on the prestigious House Ways and Means Committee. In this role, she developed and executed a comprehensive communications plan with an emphasis on social and earned media, consistently securing front-page coverage. In just over a year, she grew the congressman’s social media following by 3,000 and placed 700 earned media stories.
Previously, Schneider wrote remarks for Congresswoman Candice Miller, covering high-visibility topics like Operation Iraqi Freedom.
