Madison Parks joined the Marriott Communications team and in barely a year has taken all of her colleagues by storm. Hired as a social media coordinator, she soon took on oversight and strategy for all of Marriott's corporate social media channels.
Parks also became a trusted advisor across the company on issues related to social media communications, data collection and analysis and crisis management. At the earliest opportunity she was promoted several steps up to manager and began coaching her own team. She has since developed the first-ever brand voice guidelines for each corporate social media platform.
Parks has also, among many other impressive initiatives, taken on designing, successfully pitching and leading corporate expansion on Facebook, including overseeing, producing content for and executing a $100,000 content marketing campaign that won Marriott content millions of unique views. She has also expanded the company’s Twitter activity, debuting live-tweeting of quarterly earnings and a first-ever Twitter chat with Executive Chairman Bill Marriott.
