Virtual Ink Reaches Lucrative Readers

Consumers who peruse online newspapers generally make bigger bucks than the average Web surfer and are better educated, meaning placements in those virtual papers are likely
reaching very lucrative readers. A new study from the Newspaper Association of America shows those readers also spend more time and money online than other Web users. The survey,
conducted in January and February with 2,000 online users, also showed Web users are more likely to go to newspaper Web sites for news and information than to major search engines
or local TV stations' Web sites. (Newspaper Association of America, http://www.naa.org)
