Top Women in PR 2014: Susan Leepson

Susan Leepson, Group Vice President, Communications Strategy & Public Relations, Time Warner Cable

With almost 20 years of experience, Susan currently oversees all external stakeholder communications and engagement for one of the country’s largest providers of video, high speed data and voice services. With 15 million customers in 29 states, Susan is charged with leading her team to engage with national and local media, print and TV, as well as social media, brand management and crisis communications for Time Warner Cable.

Susan led the transition of the company’s CEO at the end of 2013. After 41 years in the cable industry, the company’s former Chairman and CEO Glenn Britt announced his retirement and the company’s Board of Directors elected then President and COO Rob Marcus as his successor. Susan and her team led the PR charge during the transition period. In addition, she helped share the story of Glenn’s legacy in the company and the industry as a whole, while raising Rob’s profile as the new leader of the company.
