Spanish-Language Broadcast Media Company Open for Business

The tremendous growth of the U.S. Hispanic population is having
a ripple effect in PR, as both companies and agencies try and come
up with innovative campaigns that will appeal to this booming
market. (See PR NEWS, Oct. 20, 2003). Now, some help is on the way,
least in terms of broadcast. TeleNocias, which launched last week,
will specialize in reaching newsrooms at Spanish-language
electronic media outlets. The New York-based company will provide
broadcast production and distribution services targeting
Spanish-language TV, radio stations and Internet portals. The firm
is being launched by David Henry, a 14-year veteran of the
broadcast/electronic publicity field, and Dan Durazo, founder of
NoticiasWire and a principal at Durazo Communications Inc., a Los
Angeles-based PR and marketing agency specializing in the U.S.
Hispanic market.
