Okay, we were slightly peeved by the combined seven emails and two snail mail releases that Wave Rock Communications floated our way last week announcing its five new clients. But we were astonished and astounded by the hyperbolic puffery that accompanied the last pitch:
"In regard to the recent release you received...with Wave Rock's astounding
first year of business and powerful client base, the future of high-tech PR is
already being directed. I'd love to have you speak with [our VPs] to discuss the
astonishing first year success and the new, Web-driven philosophies behind Wave
Rock's direction."
If you please...control your adjectives or be prepared to show us the next Bezos.
