APCO Worldwide -- Legal Eagle. Michael Hotra (ex-American Tort Reform Association), an expert in legal communication, joins the firm as a vice president. He'll work closely
with APCO senior execs including Neal Cohen, chairman; Kent Jarrell, senior VP and director of litigation communication; Robert Schooling, senior VP and director of public
affairs; and Myron Marlin, senior VP and senior strategist.

Arrow Electronics -- Jacqueline Strayer (ex-United Technologies Corp.) gets the nod as VP/Corporate Communications for the consumer electronics company. Strayer has held
significant roles in communications at GE Capital, William M. Mercer and GTE (now Verizon).

Burson-Marsteller -- Out of the fryer and into the pan. Jason Kinney, who previously worked as a communications advisor to former California Governor Gray Davis, has been
tapped to lead the agency's northern California Public Affairs Practice. Kinney will be a director in Burson's Sacramento office... Christine Kelley Cimko has joined the firm as
Managing Director of Burson's Washington, D.C.-based Public Affairs Practice. Her marching orders: establish a global defense practice. Cimko has held a variety of senior
communication jobs on Capitol Hill and the Pentagon.

Colle+McVoy -- Shuffling the deck. John Jarvis becomes president of the Minneapolis-based marketing communications firm; he'll retain his title as chief creative officer.
Meanwhile, in other executive changes, Phil Johnson retains his role as chief operating officer, with additional responsibilities in account services. CEO Chuck Kushell is leaving
the agency and going to Colle+McVoy subsidiary MDC Partners.

Fleishman- Hillard -- Anne St. Peter has been appointed general manager of the agency's St. Louis office, replacing Rick Thaemert, who will be returning to client work.

Hill & Knowlton -- James Heimowitz (ex-JBH Consulting/China Online) has been appointed president-CEO of Hill & Knowlton Asia. He'll be responsible for spearheading
business in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea as well as other countries in the region.

Manning Selvage & Lee -- Susan Mekrami (ex-GCI BoxenbaumGrates) comes aboard as Senior VP of internal communications. Mekrami will work closely with a team of internal
communications specialists at DeeleyTrimble/ MS&L in Atlanta; the combined group will now be known as MS&L Internal Communications...Reneé Yosco joins MS&L as senior
VP in the New York office's consumer group. She'll lead accounts for Procter & Gamble's Fabric and Homecare division and Kraft.

Peppercom -- Maggie O'Neill (ex-Golin/Harris International) has been promoted to director of the agency's San Francisco office. O'Neill also heads up new business development
for the firm's West Coast digs.

Porter Novelli -- Jerry Franz (ex-American Diabetes Association) rejoins the agency as executive vice president-director of strategic health alliances for the Health and &
Social Marketing practice. Franz was a senior VP with Porter Novelli Washington.

Weber Shandwick -- Lisa Travatello has been promoted to chief creative officer in the firm's New York office. She'll provide creative and strategic counseling for clients
throughout the Weber Shandwick network.
