Corporate Moves

  • John Needham becomes SVP, public affairs, for Time Inc. The
    newly-created position reports directly to chairman and CEO Ann
    Moore.
  • The Center for Jewish History appoints Steven Greene to the
    newly-created position of director of communications. Greene served
    as CEO of Sperling Greene Associates for more than 10 years.

Agency Moves

  • Widmeyer Communications hires Robin Wolfgang as AVP in the
    firm's education practice. Wolfgang was the PR and IR manager for
    Caliber Learning Network and headed the media services department
    at Ruder Finn Global Public Relations in Washington.
  • Rose Marshall joins Ketchum's Washington-based Litigation
    Communications practice as a senior counselor. A 20-year PR
    veteran, Marshall ran her own firm, LEGAL PR, from 1992 through
    2002. Marshall is also the author of No Comment and Other
    Admissions of Guilt.
  • Roger Salazar becomes senior counselor for Porter Novelli
    Sacramento. Salazar served as press secretary for Governor Gray
    Davis' reelection campaign and deputy press secretary in the
    governor's office.
  • Rosemary Sayer becomes Golin/Harris Forrest's new managing
    director for Asia, replacing Anne Forrest, who is retiring from
    full-time management. Forrest will continue to serve as a
    consultant as non-executive chairman for Asia. Sayer had been with
    Golin/Harris before a two-year stint in-house at one of Asia's
    leading banks.
  • Janet Schiller joins Coyne Public Relations as broadcast
    director. Schiller, who has been with the "Today" show for 14
    years, will help to expand the broadcast elements of clients'
    campaigns.
  • Warschawski Public Relations (WPR) promotes Amy Bognaski from
    junior VP to VP. Bognaski has been with WPR for two years and
    previously was PR and marketing coordinator for the Maryland
    Historical Society.
  • Thomas Harris, Judith Rich and Kathy Rand have created Three's
    Company, a new consultancy designed to provide training and support
    to companies to help them get the most from their marcom programs.
    Harris, former president of Golin/Harris International, taught as a
    professor of integrated marketing at Northwestern University. Rich
    was EVP and chief creative officer for Ketchum and previously
    served as VP/national creative director for Edelman. Rand was
    managing director at Manning Selvage & Lee and EVP at
    Golin/Harris.
