GPC Opens in Calgary
GPC Communications , a Toronto-based PR and public affairs firm,
has opened an office in Calgary, Alberta. Heading GPC Communications-
Alberta will be Gordon Forstner, who joins as general manager. He was
vice president of FWJ Communications , Calgary.

Chicago Arts Firm Targets N.Y.
Shields Communications , a Chicago-based arts and entertainment
firm, announced plans to open an office in New York next month.
Agency founder Valerie Shields will make the move to Manhattan to
start the new site--which officially opens June 3: 91 East 4th St.,

The Chicago headquarters office also has moved. The new address

Benjamin Adds Consumer Division
High-tech PR firm The Benjamin Group , Campbell, Calif., created
a consumer technology division. Michele Bernhardt has joined to head
the new unit. She was a vice president at another California high-
tech firm Neale-May & Partners , Palo Alto.
The Benjamin Group also has a Southern California office, in
