The Boston Globe will launch a new section in September dedicated to all things cerebral. The Ideas section will cover the "creation and clash of ideas," according to Editor

Another Way to Score Inc. Inc magazine has opened entries for its 2002 Web Awards. The awards recognize companies that have effectively used the Web to transform the way they
do business. Entry deadline is May 27. To be eligible, companies must be:

  • Privately held
  • U.S.-based
  • Independent
  • Have annual revenues under $100 million
  • Submit entries concerning developments taking place before Jan. 1, 2002.
