Microsoft Office XP users will be able to use a new "smart tag" technology on MSNBC to gather local news, weather and sports for 190 U.S. cities and 190 international locales.
The smart tag will allow early adopters of XP to pull down menus for this information in Word, Excel and Word-enabled Outlook documents.
