Media Metrics

It must be the sports. Delahaye Medialink recently looked into the differences between men and women when it comes to newspapers in the Top 10 markets. For women, The New York
Times is the most widely read newspaper while for men it's the New York Daily News. It's interesting that The Wall Street Journal, the bible for American business, didn't make the
grade for men. Perhaps because many of the male species take their sports intravenously and practically half of a typical edition of the Daily News is devoted to sports coverage.
(Even some of the daily's gossip columns have a sports bent). And while there's a big difference between men and women in the newspapers they read in New York, it was pretty much
the same in the second and third biggest media markets, Los Angeles and Chicago.
