Last week, the Institute for Public Relations announced the winner of its annual Jack Felton Golden Ruler Award, which honors public relations campaigns or programs with clear,
measurable objectives and innovative methods of evaluation. This year the award, given in conjunction with the Commission on Public Relations Measurement & Evaluation and
sponsored by PR News, goes to Porter Novelli and Watson Pharma for their study entitled "PRoof: Porter Novelli Key Message Assessment & Optimization." The award will be
presented at the Summit on Measurement September 27-29, 2006, in Portsmouth, NH. Look for coverage of the Summit in an upcoming issue of PR News.
