Out with the Old...Out magazine is in the midst of an editorial
redesign courtesy of its new owner, Liberation Publishing (publisher of the
Advocate), which bought the title in April. Few editorial staff members
have remained with the publication through the transition. Former New Yorker
editor Brendon Lemon has been named editor-in-chief, but office relocation and
staffing plans have not been finalized. Stay tuned for pitch tips. http://www.planetout.com. Source: Press Access.

Life Goes On. Life magazine ends this month (PRN, March 27) and its managing editor, Isolde Motley, sets off on a new course. She has been named
corporate editor for Time, Inc. The main number is 212/522-1212.Where Beauty Walks. The influx of reporters-turned PR practitioners continues, but L'Oreal Director
of PR Julie Kofman is walking against traffic. She recently accepted an offer to become beauty editor at Seventeen. Kofman is a former model and previously worked for
Lancome and Guerlain. For more information, contact Laura Brounstein at 212/407-9733.
