Ethnic Press Expanding

The ethnic press surrounding major metropolitan areas is growing algebraically and gaining notice from the established media industry. A recent Washington Post article
points to the burgeoning Korean press in the Nation's Capital, which circulates among 100,000 readers. Further growth is benchmarked by the growing number of ethnic media
directories available from publishers around the country. The Independent Press Association's "Guide to the Ethnic Press of New York City," lists 198 Big Apple magazines and
newspapers that publish in 36 languages. PR people: stay tuned to see your press releases translated into dozens of languages for increased media impressions.
