Breast Cancer Book Targets Children

Children of breast cancer survivors are often left out of the high-profile campaigns to raise awareness about the disease. A new book, KIDS TALK: Kids Speak Out About Breast Cancer, helps fill this void. Sponsored by Samsung Telecommunications and Sprint PCS, the book was released this month and is available for free to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. KIDS TALK is part of a bigger "Speak Out" program designed to educate and support the entire family during the fight with breast cancer.

The book features illustrations that use animals to depict personal experiences and methods for coping with the diagnosis, treatment and recovery from breast cancer.
