Two Organizations Get Makeovers

S.M. Henry Brown Jr., vice president for governmental affairs at Entergy Corp., Washington, D.C., is the new chairman of the Public Affairs Council. He succeeds Woody Madden, government affairs manager for Exxon Co. Nick Franklin, senior VP for public affairs at PacifiCare Health Systems, Santa Ana, Calif., was named chairman-elect at the annual board of directors meeting, moving up from a vice chairman's post. Douglas Pinkham was reelected president and CEO.

Up the coast, Jim Wyckoff has joined Marshall Consultants Inc., an executive search firm, as senior VP and acting general manager of the firm's eastern U.S. office. He semi-replaces Hugh McCandless, executive VP and general manager of the eastern office, who "semi-retires" to warmer climes. McCandless will continue his association with the firm as executive VP and general consultant to both eastern and western offices.
