Time Warner Cable Captures CTPAA Beacon Award

The Cable Television Public Affairs Association (CTPAA) awarded
Time Warner Cable's Charlotte Division with the 2004 Beacon Award
for its communication with customers during the ice storm of
December 2002. With 78% of the division's customers without cable
and/or high-speed data services, the division deployed a
multi-pronged effort to communicate its crisis plan. It used press
releases and media coverage, print advertising, a Web site and
personal telephone calls to give customers information regarding

Time Warner: Time Inc. has announced the September launch of All
You, a monthly women's magazine that will have an initial rate base
of 500,000. The magazine, which will first be distributed via
Wal-Mart stores, will cover a wide range of subjects, from
relationships to home repair.
