ADVERTISING ABSRACT: MARKETING FIRM CREATES TRIBUTING TO AGING

In an effort to commemorate its award-winning ad campaign which made tribute to the aging process, Phoenix Systems, a marketing firm in Sioux Falls, S.D., designed a glossy calendar.

The calendar includes full-color glossy shots of posters and television ads that have run within the last 10 years. The calendar also features quotes of radio spots which are superimposed on the pictures.

"We wanted to pay tribute to our ads which spotlight people who have made accomplishments well beyond their 65th birthday," said Richard Ambrosius

, president of Phoenix Systems.

"In this high-tech world, the calendar is intended to educate people about the positive image of the aging process."

People featured in the calendar included Clark Baron, Daniel Bone, Ben Franklin, Grandma Moses and Gutzom Borglum, who carved Mount Rushmore.
