Independent Business magazine renames itself MyBusiness and reverts to its original mission of helping entrepreneurs. The bimonthly magazine, published by Hammock
Publishing, goes out to the 600,000 members of the National Federation of Independent Business and will appear on newsstands later this year.

Lead-time for pitches is two months. Send ideas to Editor Lisa Waddle via fax or email. The departments for the magazine are finance, marketing, and management.

MyBusiness also has an Upfront section that runs book reviews and offers legal
