unique and everything in between. The site, which was freshly redesigned last month, continues to capitalize on the Web's limitless space, offering a resource that is both deep
and wide - including 10,000 gift registry products and 11,000 wedding gown photos. Its mission: "Where smart, spirited and sophisticated couples turn for comprehensive, up-to-
date wedding information." The site draws nearly a million visitors and logs 23 million page views per month. Average length of a site visit: 15.5 minutes.

Pitch Tips

Proper etiquette involves familiarizing yourself with the site's channels before you pitch. Don't bother suggesting an entire story theme. "Be direct. Just tell us what
you've got and we'll decide where it will best fit into our format," Komorn says.

Remember, the Web is a flexible medium. If you think your product or expertise might mesh nicely with a story that's already been posted on the site for weeks, tell the
editors. "We might add your information to the story later as a resource," she says. "It's not like a newspaper where once it's laid out it's finished."
