Giving new meaning to the word "burnout," The Blaze Co. earns points on the gimmick-o-meter from PR NEWS this week. The Venice, Calif.-based marcom and PR firm singes
the bottom of its press releases (by hand!) to give them a cool effect (Blaze, get it?). Meanwhile,top honors in the category of gross and tasteless conversation topics go to
the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance for its newsletter tag line, "Ovar'coming Together." We were talking about it, but it wasn't pretty.
