The firm is looking forward to its second annual Global Scholar program. In its first iteration 20 employees were selected from more than 100 applicants to visit any office across the firm’s global network to transfer knowledge and capabilities as well as build globally aware leadership for the future. The company sent New Yorkers to Sao Paulo and China, while a social media expert from Vienna traveled to Mumbai to share her knowledge.
Ketchum Leadership Institute and Camp Ketchum focus on developing the agency’s up-and-coming leadership. The 2013 Ketchum Leadership Institute focused on teaching leadership in the smallest of moments, to accelerate the agency’s overall growth. Camp Ketchum 2013 was the most global ever, with 83 high-potential, mid-level managers serving as campers and 32 senior leadership serving as counselors from 37 offices converging at Mont Tremblant in Canada.
