USANA’s four-day International Convention takes place in Salt Lake City each August, and each year the global company announces something big to the thousands in attendance. In 2013, USANA and CEO Dave Wentz—accompanied by Grammy-winning artist M.C. Hammer—unveiled the biggest announcement ever for its Associates and Preferred Customers businesses, which was a set of groundbreaking enhancements to its already award-winning business model, pricing, rank advancements and more that have acted as game changers for their businesses.
Some key points Wentz presented were offering USANA’s lowest price—formerly known as Autoship pricing—as the only price, so that everyone benefits and saves money and newly enrolled team members can now earn a 10% reward on their initial product order.
Propelled by USANA’s announcements, fourth-quarter 2013 net sales increased to $186.3 million, compared with $168.5 million in the prior-year period due to the successful adoption of the initiatives.
