AGENCY’S EXECS TAKE CORPORATE JOBS

Two top executives of international PR firm The Americas Group,
Stamford, Conn., have moved over to corporate positions.

Jack Macauley, managing director, joined Philip Morris Management
Corp., New York, as director, external relations. Evelyn
Mariperisensa joins Chrysler Corp. as manager of Latin America, Middle
East, Africa public relations.

Dragon Systems Inc., Newton, Mass., appointed Renee Blodgett as
manager of corporate communications at the speech recognition software
company. She was a senior account executive at high-tech PR firm
Brodeur & Partners, Waltham, Mass.
Chris Cosentino joined Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. , New York, as a
vice president in the corporate communications department. He was a
staffer at Principal Communications, a corporate and financial PR unit
of Grey Advertising/GCI Group, New York.
The COREL Women's Tennis Association Tour, New York, hired Joe
Favorito as director of communications. He was director of public
relations/publicity for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National
Basketball Association.

San Diego Gas & Electric appointed Douglas Kline strategic
communications consultant. He was director of corporate
communications for CF MotorFreight, Menlo Park, Calif.

John Onoda was named vice president of worldwide corporate
communications at General Motors Corp. [GM]. Onoda was vice
president, corporate communications, at Levi Strauss & Co., San
Francisco.

Susan Russ was promoted from vice president, corporate
communications to senior vice president and chief communications
officer at RISCORP Inc., Sarasota, Florida.
