AARP Targets Latinos

AARP launches Segunda Juventud, a quarterly, bilingual newspaper for Hispanics over the age of 50. The pub will provide information on everything from health and lifestyle
trends to profiles of fascinating people over 50. The first issue includes profiles of Hispanic community volunteers, an update on changing immigration laws, a health article on
promising diabetes treatments and a piece on popular singer/songwriter Juan Gabriel. Translated as "Second Youth," it will be distributed to AARP members in Texas, New York,
California, Florida and Puerto Rico. (Charee Gillins, AARP, 213/637-2246)
