Bilal G. Morris
Director of Local Social Media Strategy
Bilal G. Morris is a graduate from Monmouth University with a B.A. in communications and minor in journalism.
He has worked as an online editor for Radio One in Richmond, Philadelphia, and New York City, as well as regional online editor in Washington D.C., overseeing the digital departments in Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia. Radio One is the largest minority media company in the world.
He is currently the director of local social media strategy for iHeartRadio.
Bilal recently started his Social Media Etiquette Tour, a lecture series which examines effective social media skills for individuals AND professionals, seeking to build knowledge in social media marketing, etiquette, optimization, as well as trends, tips and tools for social media management. The lecture has already been presented in person, or virtually through Skype for Temple University, University Of Nebraska-Lincoln, Hampton University, Villanova University as well as a handful of others. He has also appeared on ABC 7’s Good Morning Washington as a social media consultant, sharing the best practices for businesses trying to grow their digital presence.
Bilal continues to travel the country doing lectures, and consulting on social media etiquette and digital marketing.
