We're digging it.

Timberlake et al. were just a few of the musical artists who were mentioned when we recently asked our Twitter followers which songs gives them a good lift at work.

The responses were pretty eclectic, from Frank Sinatra’s “How About You” to Frédéric Chopin’s “Nocturne.”

Victoria Adam provided an interesting range of tunes, saying that she likes both “Happy’ by Pharrell Williams as well her “oldiebutgoodie” pick, Michael Bublé’s "I've Got the World on a String." For a complete list of the musical choices we garnered, please click here.

We also got the 1990s covered, compliments of Rebecca Bartley, who said that the Spice Girls’ “Wannebe” “just lifts my mood and makes me want to dance around.”

That’s the thing about music—when it hits, you feel no pain. And working in the topsy-turvy world of media and marketing, we all experience a bit of pain every now and again.

“Without music, life would be a mistake,” said the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche.

Well, we don’t know about that, but fortunately we’ll never find out.

We do know that music is a wonderful elixir, as well as a tool that, depending on your personal preferences, can help to bridge and embolden communications.
