Megan Maisel is director for integrated media communications at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where she leads the organization's social media, multimedia and Web communication teams.

Prior to creation of MD Anderson's integrated media communications team two years ago, Megan was associate director for internal communications, focusing on multi-way communication programs for the organization's more than 20,000 employees.

Megan also worked in employee communications for Continental Airlines and spent several years in Houston television and radio news.
