PR News Announces 2016 Platinum PR Award Winners

PR News honored the year's top communications campaigns at its annual Platinum PR Awards luncheon on Oct. 19. PR pros and marketers representing organizations and agencies of all sizes from across the country congregated at New York City's Marriott Marquis to celebrate their communications successes across categories including media relations, measurement, social media, CSR and more.

PR News also inducted four campaigns into the Platinum Hall of Fame, now in its seventh year. The Hall of Fame honors communications campaigns or initiatives that have become inspirational benchmarks for other communicators. These are campaigns that have had a larger cultural or business impact than even their creators might have imagined. This year, Coca-Cola, The UN Foundation/92nd Street Y, T-Mobile and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention were all inducted into the Platinum PR Hall of Fame.

At the Oct. 19 luncheon, PR News also announced the winners of its 2016 Agency Elite Awards.
