Olympics Visit Los Angeles in January

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics has retained Boca Raton-based TransMedia Group to spearhead a publicity campaign for one of America's premiere Rhythmic Gymnastics Events, the 2008 LA Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational Jan. 24-27 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City.

"This event is without doubt America's Premiere Rhythmic Gymnastics Event, which will be covered by International Gymnast Magazine, Time Warner Cable Networks, CBS News, LA Times, Panorama Russian Publication and numerous print media who will interview top winners," said Kim Morgan, TransMedia Group Senior Vice President. kmorgan@transmediagroup.com.

Grand Prize for the event is a $5,000 Diamond CORUM limited event edition watch, plus prizes for the top three Senior Level 10 Division placements within the top six places, according to Meet Director Alla Syirsky, USA National & Olympic Coach. Registration deadline is Nov. 15 for the event which awards all-around medals (1-6) place and event rosettes for the top six gymnasts in each event. Special awards will be given to Miss Tournament, Miss Flexibility, Miss Originality, Challenge Award, Team Awards (1-3 places {1Jr.+1 Sr.}), combined All-Around {Junior + Seniors}.
