Montblanc North America Selects Rogers & Cowan as Agency of Record

NEW YORK, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Montblanc North America, purveyors of the finest in timepieces, writing instruments, jewelry, and leather goods, has selected Rogers & Cowan as its agency of record. Rogers & Cowan will plan and implement ongoing public relations campaigns to reinforce Montblanc's position as one of the leading worldwide, diversified luxury brands and increase awareness for their timepiece and jewelry collections. The announcement was made today by Jan-Patrick Schmitz, President and CEO of Montblanc North America and Tom Tardio, CEO of Rogers & Cowan.

In his announcement today, Mr. Schmitz said, "We are very proud of our one hundred year history. Montblanc's evolution to a luxury brand, the creation of the Montblanc Star Diamond, and the launch of our first fine jewelry line are significant milestones for us. We are excited to partner with Rogers & Cowan, a respected and experienced agency, who will be instrumental in communicating Montblanc's unique style and elegance, as well as our mission of providing quality, luxury and excellence."

Rogers & Cowan's focus on strategic communication, media relations, ambassador building and event management will come into play during the coming months as Montblanc prepares for several new product launches and events. The agency will also work closely with Montblanc to attract North American press for international Montblanc activities. Fran Curtis, Executive Vice President at Rogers & Cowan, will lead the Montblanc North America account out of the agency's New York office.
