Kevin R. Elliott is a senior vice president in Hill+Knowlton’s San Francisco office. He directs strategic planning and management of corporate communications and public affairs programs for a variety of clients including Qualcomm, Enphase Energy, America’s Cup, Prologis and others.

A substantial portion of Kevin’s practice is dedicated to working with companies facing risk, managing issues and reputation. His clients are companies and executives facing high-profile media issues and a range of business challenges. He counsels and prepares senior executives for high value interaction with the public, regulators and other stakeholders. Kevin is frequently asked to ghost-write for senior executives and help clients shape their messaging and narrative. He is part of H+K’s corporate advisory leadership team, the global crisis team, energy services and food safety specialty groups and he is the director of the firm’s labor relations communication group.

Kevin led public affairs and media relations for Unocal Corp. He was also vice president of public affairs for a marine industrial engineering firm that did work for both the Department of Defense domestically and internationally. Kevin worked as a lobbyist, managed a political action committee and coordinated labor relations.

Kevin spent four years on staff in the United States Senate where he worked on policy, media and community outreach.

Kevin is on the board of directors of the Bay Area Council. He has lectured on communication and risk management at the University of San Francisco, and the University of Southern California, as well as at conferences sponsored by the Bay Area Council, the Conference Board and the Arthur Page Society.
