Director of Social Media and Marketing
Ben Shields is director of social media and marketing at ESPN. He oversees social media strategy for the ESPN brand and works across the enterprise to develop and implement company-wide social strategy. He also manages the Brand Marketing group, which leads the "It's Not Crazy, It's Sports" brand campaign and the marketing for the ESPN Films 30 for 30 series, among other ESPN original content initiatives. Ben is also the co-author of "The Elusive Fan: Reinventing Sports in a Crowded Marketplace" (McGraw-Hill, 2006) as well as numerous articles on sports media and marketing.
