PR News Announces Finalists and Honorees for its PR People,
15-to-Watch and Top Places to Work in PR Awards Programs

Rockville, Md., November 2, 2011-- PR News will salute the winners and honorable mentions of its annual PR People, 15-to-Watch and Top Places to Work in PR awards programs on November 30, 2011 at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

PR News is thrilled to announce this year's finalists for all three programs. The finalists of the PR People Awards set the benchmark for PR and underscore the outstanding PR achievements made in the past year. The 15-to-Watch honorees represent the 15 budding public relations leaders and creative practitioners age 30 and under. The winners of the Top Places to Work in PR are the best organizations in the PR industry.

Personal Branding Expert Samantha Ettus will deliver the keynote for PR News’ PR People Awards Luncheon. As a Personal Branding Expert, Samantha Ettus has made hundreds of national TV appearances including multiple stints on The TODAY Show, The Early Show and The O’Reilly Factor. The best-selling author and media personality’s keynote will highlight the potential opportunities and pitfalls of managing a personal brand.

PR News will hold a Media Relations 2.0 Workshop, which will take place the morning of the PR People Awards Luncheon and a Facebook Conference the following day, December 1. The morning workshop will discuss smart tips, tools and next practices for managing and improving media relations initiatives. The one-day Facebook Conference will teach public relations and communications professionals how to rethink, reorganize and regain control of their Facebook activity and integrate it with the PR discipline’s bedrock skills. Both the workshop and the Facebook Conference will take place at The National Press Club in D.C.
