In a recent survey, employees listed their favorite aspects of working at R&R, highlighting the familial environment, the company’s flexible and fun culture, the variety of work and the reputation that comes with the company, the support and motivation from upper level management and recognition for hard work.
R&R does more than support and recognize the hard work and dedication of its employees, however. R&R Partners Foundation, the charitable arm of R&R Partners, is dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities in which its employees live and the agency does business. Its areas of focus include children and families, arts and education, health care, public safety and human rights. Last year, 25 organizations across nine cities and three countries were served.
The company sponsors volunteer efforts throughout the year with a variety of opportunities to help organizations like food banks, Habitat for Humanity and Angel Trees. R&R’s management so highly values the ability to volunteer that employees use time off to participate in an annual group trip to Nicaragua to support a rural medical and dental clinic, as well as to deliver clothing and dental care products that are collected throughout the year.
R&R runs a “Superstar” program to fast-track talented employees. A limited number of R&R staffers are chosen annually to participate in this program. These employees have shown extraordinary levels of commitment to company principles. As Superstars, they participate in a yearlong series of programs designed to expand their skills and maximize their potential. The program can include continuing education programs or projects as well as trips to appropriate seminars, conventions or conferences. It is expected that Superstar participants will expand their learning and knowledge and share that learning with their colleagues.
