Bridget Forney is a force to be reckoned with in the PR space and has brought the Kiddie Academy brand's content marketing and PR program to a new level.
The marketing communications manager’s main job is to manage the Kiddie Academy’s reputation and proactively drive external and internal communications through content marketing, blogging, social media, email marketing, public relations, newsletters and crisis communications. Forney oversees PR activity, media requests, communications and content marketing for 160 academies located in 24 states, in addition to approximately 30 new locations slated to open in 2016 and up to 50 others in development.
Forney produced pitches for Kiddie Academy events, programs and people throughout the year including the company’s national events, like the company’s first annual “Birthday DanceParty!” in February and sixth annual “Storytime LIVE!” in July. She has also assisted in creating new employee morale activities, leveraging them for publicity in untraditional ways. For example, Kiddie Academy held its first staff “Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day” in April 2016 and won coverage on Patch.com and in Cecil Whig’s Bargaineer newspaper as a result of Forney's efforts.
