2016 Top Places to Work in PR: PAN Communications

When it comes to employee growth, PAN is a firm believer in giving employees enough room on the runway to stretch themselves into the professionals they aspire to be. Employees are each given the opportunity to take on new projects based on their interests.

Every PAN employee is assigned a "Dedicated VP" when they join. This VP is responsible for the growth and development of the employee. In addition, all VPs meet weekly to discuss people, progress, performance and promotions. Once consensus has been reached, a detailed plan is put in place to formalize what criteria is needed for an employee to advance. Those plans are then implemented by the Dedicated VP to serve their junior employee.

PAN has a diverse staff and believes in the hiring and advancement of all employees, with no preference given to any particular ethnicity or gender. PAN’s employees hail from Asia, India, South America, Mexico, Canada, Albania, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Egypt, France and all over the continental U.S. PAN staff members have been selected to serve as mentors for an organization that offers multicultural students paid, full-time summer internships at participating agencies nationwide.

PAN recognizes the need for charitable and community involvement, and employees are given the opportunity to devote a paid workday to a volunteer activity. PAN employees have worked in soup kitchens, food banks and local parks.
