In Sept. 2015, HC became nationally certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, reinforcing Henson’s commitment as a 100 percent woman-owned and -operated firm. This certification for women owned businesses verifies that a company is at least 51 percent woman/women-owned. It is the most rigorous and sought-after certification of its kind.
Henson Consulting employees are always encouraged to research and pursue career-enhancing opportunities, and upon request, management approves and funds training sessions that foster employee development. HC staff also holds monthly “Lunch and Learns” to keep the team up-to-speed on the latest developments in various PR areas like writing, digital media, strategic pitching and event planning.
