Dr. Amy Gershkoff is the global director of analytics for Burson-Marsteller, where she designs custom measurement solutions for clients' communication programs and oversees all social and digital media analytics programs for the agency. She also serves as the chief data scientist for WPP, Data Alliance. In this role, she works collaboratively with WPP's more than 350 operating companies worldwide to create integrated data and technology solutions for WPP's clients.

Previously, she served as the director of media planning at Obama for America, where she built the first-of-its-kind in-house media planning department.  In this role, she designed cutting-edge tools to optimize paid, earned and owned communication in real time. Prior to joining Obama for America, she was co-founder and Managing Partner of a Changing Targets Media, an advertising analytics company. 

In 2012, Amy was named one of the Top 50 Women to Watch in Tech. She was also selected as one of the "50 Women Who Made the 2012 Election," and has been referred to as one of the most prominent data scientists in politics. Her articles have been published in numerous media outlets and academic journals, including the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Business Insider, and the Huffington Post, and she has been a commentator on NPR, XM Radio, ABC, CSPAN and for various print media outlets. 

She holds a PhD from Princeton University.
