2011 Nonprofit PR Awards: External Publication or Report

Seattle Children’s Hospital Research Foundation - Connection Magazine

To enhance the target audience’s pride in affiliating with Seattle Children’s Hospital—with a final objective of having readers answer “yes” to a request for financial or community support—Connection Magazine aims to position the hospital as a leader in pediatric healthcare and medical research.

On that end, the magazine takes care in featuring the work of clinicians who provide care; researchers who further medical knowledge; and the donors, guild members and volunteer whose time, money and energy makes all of Seattle Children’s good work possible. Connection Magazine also highlights the impact that its care and research have on children and families. As a result of this focus on impact, Connection has the highest readership of any Seattle Children’s Hospital publication.
