As the pandemic has forced many to work remotely, we’ve seen communicators get creative with how they reach their audiences. These creative digital pivots will be awarded at the 2021 Digital Awards, which honors the most innovative campaigns of the last year. These campaigns represent the leading out-of-the-box digital strategies and efforts that forced PR pros out of their comfort zones and propelled the industry further all while performing well, even in unprecedented times. Digital campaigns spanning all areas of marketing and communication, including media relations, branding, influencer marketing, social media and more are invited to enter.

Entry Fees

The price of each primary entry is $425. If you are submitting a secondary entry of the same campaign into any additional categories, the prices will be $275 per additional category. A late fee of $199 will be applied to entries submitted between February 19 and 26. Payment in full must accompany the entry. Entry fees are not refundable.

    • How was success measured for this campaign? What metrics show that this campaign performed well and met its goals?
  • Supporting materials: Supporting Materials can include anything that best represents the success of your work.

Nominees for the Top People Awards will be required to submit the following:

    • Outline the reason why the nominee or team should be named a finalist.
  • Role in Organization
    • Please provide some details of the nominee's role in the organization. Please include who the nominee reports to.

    • Please explain how this person has raised the bar on creativity, strategy and execution for his or her organization, or how this person has gone above and beyond expectations.

Organizational Awards

  • Synopsis
    • Summarize your program’s structure, successes, impact, and how it supports your company’s DEI efforts.
  • Supporting Materials
    • Supporting materials should show evidence of the success of the work. It can be any of the following: sales figures, brand media coverage, clippings, photos, web sites, research documents, and testimonials.
    • All file types accepted.
    • Up to 5 pdf documents, 5 image/video files, and 2 URLs are allowed per entry.

FAQs

Who can enter?
The Digital Awards are open to all individuals and teams worldwide at for-profit and non-profit organizations including corporations, PR agencies, public affairs and IR agencies, publicity firms, associations, government, and NGO teams, and sole practitioners.

What are the eligibility requirements?
To be eligible, the campaign or initiative must have taken place (either in part or in full) between February 19, 2020, and February 26, 2021. Some of the work must have occurred during this time, but it’s not necessary for it to be completed during the eligibility period.

How are the entries judged?
We evaluate your entry based on creativity, innovation, sound planning implementation, results as well as proven impact on the communities targeted.

How do I increase my chances of winning an award?
Emphasize the goals of your campaign, as well as your campaign’s achievements in your synopsis. Provide as many concrete and specific examples of success as possible, and explain clearly and succinctly your research, planning, implementation and measurement of the campaign.
