Tracy Zampaglione currently serves as media spokesperson for the Orange County Corrections Department in Orlando, Florida. Zampaglione is also on faculty at the University of Phoenix where she teaches writing and communications courses. Previously she led the communications, marketing and public relations functions for the Orange County Library System, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and Walden University. A thought leader in the profession, Zampaglione has published extensively in a variety of venues. In 2014, she was named one of PR News’ Media Relations Professionals of the Year. She earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in communications from James Madison University. Zampaglione is also an accredited (APR) member of the public relations profession and a longstanding member of the Public Relations Society of America.
