Rishad Tobaccowala is the chief strategy and innovation officer of VivaKi, a global leader in digital advertising solutions and a center of excellence and resource for the entire Publicis Groupe.

Rishad focuses on incubating new ideas, approaches and models for the next generation of data-driven marketing, storytelling and brand growth. The areas Rishad oversees include VivaKi Ventures, VivaKi Pool, and VivaKi Foundry.

Over his 30-year marketing career Rishad has worked across almost every area of marketing including brand advertising, media, database, direct and interactive marketing. As a pioneer in digital marketing, Rishad helped create one of the first Interactive Groups and digital agencies 20 years ago and has helped launch a series of initiatives over the years from groups focused on gaming, social, mobile and search engine marketing. Starcom IP, Play, Giant Step, SMG Search and Denuo are some of the brands Rishad helped incubate.

Rishad was named by BusinessWeek as one of the top business leaders for his pioneering innovation and Time magazine dubbed him one of five Marketing Innovators.

Rishad serves as a board member or adviser to a host of companies in the venture capital and start-up space including Greycroft Ventures, Recycle Bank, Abundant Ventures and Visible Measures.
