On December 5, PR News celebrated the professionals making an impact in the communications field at the PR People Awards Luncheon at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. Get to know this year’s Hall of Fame inductees, PR People winners, Rising PR Stars honorees and Finnies winners.
Each year, PR News inducts into its Hall of Fame PR professionals who have played longtime leadership roles, serving as sources of inspiration within and beyond the workplace and helping to redefine and expand the roles communicators play. They've poured much talent and many years into the PR discipline, teaching by example. Meet this year's inductees!
PR News has rescinded the 2017 Publicist of the Year award given to Kirt Webster amid allegations against Webster of sexual abuse. The PR News judges had no knowledge of these actions four months ago during the judging process.
